Establishing the Link between your Forge and Discord account

To link your EPITA Discord account with the Forge platform, you need to follow these steps:

1. Visit https://discord.forge.epita.fr/ui.
2. You will be prompted to log in using your Discord credentials if not already logged in.
3. Upon login, you will be directed to the user interface where you can manage your account and consent settings.

Granting Consent

After linking your Discord account, the next step is to grant consent for each server where the EPITA Forge bot is present:

• A Discord message will notify you to grant consent along with a direct link to the consent page.
• Alternatively, you can visit https://discord.forge.epita.fr/ui/consents to manage your consents.

Revocation of Consent

Consent can be revoked either manually by the user or automatically by the system.

Manual Revocation

To manually revoke consent:

1. Visit https://discord.forge.epita.fr/ui/consents.
2. Click the "Revoke Consent" button corresponding to the server.

Automatic Revocation

• User Leaves the Server: Consent is automatically revoked when a user leaves a server.
• Bot Removal: Consent is automatically revoked if the EPITA Forge bot is removed from a server.

Data Storage and Privacy

The application maintains the confidentiality of your data by storing the following:

• The association between your Discord ID and Forge login.
• The list of Discord servers on which the EPITA Forge bot is active.
• Consent status for users and servers.

In your browser's local storage, the application stores your Discord access and refresh tokens, ensuring a secure and uninterrupted session between Discord and the EPITA application.
