Submissions

This section is incomplete. We are currently working on improving it.

Submissions play a crucial role in defining how students submit their work and determine access privileges within an activity. They serve as the cornerstone for all computations within the PaCv2 system. Subscriptions, the basis for resource access, are always computed in relation to submissions. Consequently, it's essential to have at least one submission in each assignment to facilitate effective subscription calculations, even if the assignment doesn't require students to submit anything tangible.

In cases where there's no tangible submission, a submission with a REGISTRATION_ONLY handoff type is still necessary. Additionally, limitations can be set on the number of submissions within a specific timeframe, with options like SUBMISSION, HOUR, DAY, MINUTE, or WEEK for the limitType. Various handoff types, such as GIT_TAG, GIT_DEFAULT, REGISTRATION_ONLY, LINK_TAB, and LINK_IFRAME, offer flexibility in how students submit their work, accommodating different submission methods and platforms.
